For some time now preparations have been made to find a new home amongst the stars. Huge shuttles have taken Earth's billions to the Moon where in cryogenesis they will sleep away the thousand years it will take to travel to our new home. The wildlife of our planet is being transported in huge sections of the earth's crust, launched into space on huge gravitronic boosters. The Earth's core will be towed behind the moon using Tractor beams, protected by Stasis, all joining together in a thousand years! All was going smoothly unlil the Cyborgs arrived.
